EnerNOC Customers Honored for Contributions to Regional Power Grid

The State of Connecticut, Pitney Bowes, Stop & Shop Supermarket Company, and Western Connecticut State University To Receive ISO New England's 2005 Demand Response Achievement Award

BOSTON, MA - EnerNOC, Inc., the leading provider of full-service demand response and energy management solutions, today announced that four of its customers have been selected to receive ISO New England's 2005 Demand Response Achievement Award. The award winners are Western Connecticut State University, Stop & Shop Supermarket Company, Pitney Bowes, and the State of Connecticut.

Each year, ISO New England recognizes a select group of participants for their outstanding performance and participation within their Real-Time Demand Response Programs. The system operator uses demand response during critical times to support the overall reliability of the region's bulk power grid by calling upon end-use customers to reduce power consumption. In total, these four EnerNOC customers contribute 30 MW's of electrical capacity, or the equivalent of 30,000 household's worth of power.

"Demand response is an integral resource for fulfilling ISO New England's mission of ensuring the constant availability of electricity for New England's residents and businesses," said Robert Laurita, ISO New England's Supervisor, Demand Response. "These award winners should be very proud of the valuable service they provide to the region's electric grid," Laurita continued.

EnerNOC manages the day-to-day program participation for these award winners through its 24/7 Network Operations Center, automated demand response notification and control system, and web portal, giving customers a reliable platform to monitor real-time energy usage and fine-tune their curtailment behaviors during emergency demand response events.

David Brewster, EnerNOC's President said, "These four customers each exemplify the ideal demand response program partner due to their extraordinary dedication to consistent event performance and desire to seek new opportunities for curtailment. We are very privileged to be their partner in maintaining a more reliable grid in the New England region."

Representatives from each of the four award winning organizations will receive their awards from ISO New England at an award ceremony to be held on February 23rd. A press conference will be held in conjunction with the award ceremony. Interested members of the press should call (617) 224.9904 for more information.
