BOSTON, MA and SAN FRANCISCO, CA – EnerNOC, Inc., the

management solutions , announced today that it has been qualified
by the California Energy Commission (CEC) to participate as
a Technical Assistance Partner to each of California’s
Investor Owned Utilities (IOU’s).
This approval allows EnerNOC to provide engineering-certified
demand response energy audits designed to help end-use customers
understand how to maximize the benefits from participation
in demand response programs. The IOU’s offer cash rebates
for these audits based on the estimated levels of potential
load curtailment. Subsequently, when the customer enrolls
in a load management program, such as the Demand Reserves
Partnership or Critical Peak Pricing, a second rebate is offered
based on verified load reduction.
Michael Rigney, EnerNOC’s San Francisco-based Business
Development Manager comments, "The IOU rebates make the
decision to learn more about and participate in demand response
programs much easier for customers. This program gives customers
greater resources for upgrading their energy infrastructure,
including aging energy management systems, which ultimately
makes greater levels of reliable, automated, Internet-based
load curtailment possible."
EnerNOC is the only approved Technical Assistance Partner
who is also a certified Demand Reserves Partnership Provider.
