Position Description:

EnerNOC has an immediate need for a Data Quality Analyst, working in the Network Operations Center (NOC). The mission of the Network Operation Center is to provide capacity to the grid by reducing customers’ electricity consumption on an emergency basis.

The Data Quality Analyst will help the Network Operations team prepare for Demand Response events by:

  • Analyzing, identifying and correcting data quality issues within our Energy, Customer and Financial applications (PowerTrak, CRM, and Epicor)
  • Performing root cause analysis
  • Defining and proposing improvements to tools and operational procedures
  • Preparing, presenting and distributing service level reports

Additionally, the Data Quality Analyst will execute Demand Response events and provide customer service in order to develop a deep understanding and appreciation for our core business.

Finally, the ideal candidate will have the demonstrated curiosity, creativity and initiative in order to develop additional analyses that are needed to advance our business. The Data Quality Analyst will become an expert in EnerNOC’s core operational processes, and will develop a deep understanding of the issues surrounding load curtailment, emergency backup generation, and demand response programs across the nation.

Required Qualifications/Skills/Education:

  • BA/BS, with a degree in Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or another analytic field.
  • Excellent computer skills, including mastery of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Desire to learn new technologies.
  • Desire to develop expertise in Demand Response and Energy Management.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work in a fast paced, forward moving environment.

Desired Skills/Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or another analytic field.
  • Experience with regression analysis, advanced statistical techniques, Crystal Ball, etc.
  • Experience with energy management, power generation, and related technologies.
