Achieve savings that persist over time

EnerNOC's EfficiencySMART Insight helps you to address inefficient facilities, an over-burdened staff, and the nagging frustration that your buildings aren’t performing optimally. Unlike audits or even a full-scale retro-commissioning project that provide a one-time calibration, EfficiencySMART Insight uses real-time data to give your team the information it needs to ensure that savings persist over time, even if building systems change, user requirements shift, new systems are installed, or energy economics fluctuate.

EfficiencySMART Insight deployments are designed to deliver savings quickly:

  • EnerNOC Site Servers are installed at either the meter level or system level (such as a BMS or EMS), which sends your real-time energy data back to our Network Operations Center. If deployed at the control system level, an EnerNOC team of certified energy professionals will also conduct a Level II energy audit, pre-functional testing, and sequence of operations testing on the facility.
  • The EfficiencySMART Insight software establishes baselines of optimal energy usage, analyzes your data, and automatically identifies faults and other potential usage anomalies.
  • The software also takes into account weather, production schedules and information, occupancy, emissions, and tariff information to fine-tune savings recommendations.
  • EnerNOC's online portal allows you to see your data—and potential energy efficiency opportunities—in simple, intuitive dashboards from anywhere you have access to a web browser.

The power of real-time data. EnerNOC collects real time energy data from a single facility or across a portfolio of buildings to find low-cost/no-cost savings opportunities that are served up in easy to use dashboards and scorecards.

In many regions, EnerNOC can help you offset the costs of deploying a data-driven energy efficiency solution through utility rebate programs. Find out about incentives in your area.

Expert analysis of your organization’s energy use

We've never met a facilities team that's said, "We have too much time on our hands." That's why all of our Insight partnerships include ongoing analyst assistance, providing facility staff with time and expertise from EnerNOC in order to convert actionable strategies into solid energy savings. Every month, our analysts will provide a monthly scorecard of prioritized Energy Efficiency Measures (EEMs), ranked by time-to-payback and the overall impact on your bottom line.

Address utility bill overcharges

According to a 2007 Institute of Management and Administration (IOMA) study, a minimum of 2.5% of all invoices contain errors. Insight enables “shadow-billing,” which allows organizations to compare actual meter data to bills received from utility providers, thus eliminating costly overcharges. Coupled with EnerNOC's Bill Management feature, Insight delivers invoices based on real-time data to large internal users—ensuring greater awareness of energy consumption and driving organizational behavior towards energy reduction goals.

Optimize energy efficiency investments

You want your efficiency budget to go as far as possible. By arming your organization with a detailed understanding of where energy waste is most pronounced and which opportunities are most promising, Insight ensures that your energy efficiency dollars are consistently directed at projects with the highest possible return on investment.
